RENZ wins innovation award
RENZ receives the innovation award in silver of the German printing industry in the category “Technology Finishing”
For eight years the German printing industry has awarded companies for innovative products. The PrintStars 2011 event took place in Stuttgart on 10th November 2011. The patron of this innovation award was Federal Minister of Economics and Technology, Dr. Philipp Roesler.
World market leader Renz participated with the RENZ AP 360-120 DIGI BL-BL. This multifunctional punching system results from an intensive dialogue with the calendar industry.
Renz won the silver award in the category “finishing technology”. Peter Renz, CEO of the Renz group, received the award in the concert and congress center Stuttgarter Liederhalle. Peter Renz proudly and happily reported on the stage: “With this system we have created a unique product. We are on the right track!”
The jury was impressed by the 60 % increased productivity compared to existing production systems for calendar punching. Another special feature is the intelligent de-stacking system, which – for the first time ever – achieves a staggered product delivery, which is ideal for personalized calendars.
Many prestigious companies have been awarded, e.g:. the Audi AG, Ingolstadt for the Audi magazine “Dialoge” and Kodak has been awarded in the technology sector.

RENZ at Digimedia
At Digimedia (7th - 9th April, 2011 in Duesseldorf, Germany) Renz exhibited machines that are especially designed according to requirements of digital printers. In the main focus were solutions with optimized setup times for all print run sizes. Main point was traditionally calendar production.

Obituary
On 11th February 2011, our esteemed employee and colleague Ad Kers sadly passed away. At only 57 years old he lost his battle against a serious disease.
Mr. Kers started as our Sales Manager for the Netherlands in 2001. His expertise contributed to building up RENZ in the Netherlands. He was also co-organizer of the annual Grafische Vakbeurs in Gorinchem. We owe Mr. Kers very much. His death is a grievous loss to us all. We express our deepest sympathy to the family of Ad Kers. We will retain fond memories of him.
